Okklo life sciences was invited to attend to 6th B4B meeting organized in Frankfurt from March 9-11, 2012.
Brains for Brain (B4B ) is an internationalTask Force on rare genetic diseases involving the brain. The task force is formed by outstanding scientists, clinicians and leaders in the neurological field, working together with biotech companies to stimulate and collaborate research on rare genetic diseases which affect and seriously damage the brain, in particular in children.
Of special interest during this meeting where the contributions on Niemann-Pick disease type C (NPC), for which novel treatments based on cyclodextrins show clinical promise.
